Store Event : Body Rolling

Store Event : Body Rolling

Posted by Rolling Sands on 12th Aug 2016

Come and join us for a fun night of Body Rolling with our very own Massage Therapist, Paula Saarinen!

Paula will take us through an active class using a massage ball to release built-up tension and tightness throughout our bodies. You will learn how to properly provide self-care with instructions on myofascial release or “self-massage” using various tools like massage balls and foam rollers. You'll have an opportunity to compare some of the popular items available at our store to feel the difference.

Body Rolling can release tension and tightness in many areas of the body: back, hamstrings, quads, IT Band, calves, feet, neck, and abdominal areas. Paula will lead you through several releasing techniques and discuss areas of the body to avoid or that require precautionary care.

Some benefits of what you will learn:

  • Reduce Pain
  • Increase Flexibility
  • Increase Circulation
  • Breakup Adhesions
  • Dissipate Congestion

Special Notes:

  • Do come dressed comfortably. Yoga attire, sweat pants, athletic wear or any comfortable casual clothes is recommended since you will be on the floor while body rolling.
  • Allow for 75 minutes for the Body Rolling Class and discussion.
  • Please come about 10 minutes early to get set up before the session begins.
